Coercion from David Siegel and the Westgate Resorts

Westgate timeshare Review
Westgate timeshare Review
Westgate Resorts is the largest private timeshare developer in the entire world, and there have been many Westgate timeshare reviews since its inception. David Siegel, the owner of Westgate, is a very vocal and rich businessman who was recently in the news for threatening to fire his employees if Obama was elected. While this has certainly had an effect on his business and his employees, this is being felt throughout the timeshare industry, and most recently in Westgate timeshare reviews across the internet.

It seems as though consumers are not too happy with Mr. Siegel, and this is prevalent in nearly every Westgate timeshare review that has recently been posted online. It seems as though his threats have not gone unnoticed by his employees, as his sales force has ramped up the aggressiveness in recent days. Many consumers leave Westgate timeshare reviews that expose the company for using the hardest-selling tactics in recent days, unlike any they have experienced before. While these aggressive sales pitches are not limited to Westgate timeshare reviews and are certainly nothing new, they have gotten significantly worse in recent months.

The Queen of Versailles

Furthermore, there is an independent film coming out that documents the building of what would have been the largest house in the country by David Siegel, in which he has made some pretty outlandish claims. The movie represents Siegel as taking credit for the election of George Bush, and the filmmaker is now being sued for defamation. Considering Siegel’s recent comments, this is not all that surprising.

In any case, Westgate has suffered the consequences, in both his employee satisfaction and online Westgate timeshare reviews. In our opinion, perhaps shutting his mouth every once in awhile might just be a good thing. Or perhaps hurting a notoriously aggressive timeshare company like Westgate resorts isn’t all that bad either.

New Reviews, Same Dirty Tricks

Westgate Timeshare Reviews
Westgate Resorts
Westgate timeshare reviews have often rated the lowest in customer satisfaction in the industry, and this has not changed one bit in recent months. Often the target of consumer backlash, Westgate Resorts have been known to employ all the dirty tactics that have made the industry so reviled. Bullying and pressure is commonplace during Westgate timeshare presentations, and their salesmen are known to be deceptive and cunning. Targeting the elderly with fast sales pitches and misleading statements is also common throughout recent Westgate timeshare reviews. This is nothing new, and these activities are not just carried out by Westgate. These sleazy maneuvers are seen throughout the timeshare industry, and Westgate is just a part of a much larger, fraudulent industry that has taken advantage of consumers for decades.

Recently, the CEO of Westgate resorts has become involved in another malicious and underhanded activity. David Siegel, who runs Westgate Resorts, has threatened to fire his employees if Obama is elected, sending shockwaves throughout his company. This should not be surprising, as this threat is indicative of the coercion that Westgate takes part in on a daily basis. We know, through Westgate  reviews, that this company brutalizes their clients. We just didn’t know they would do it to their own employees.

Greater Consumer Backlash Against Westgate

No matter your political affiliation, most agree that this is an egregious statement that should hold no place in an honest and benevolent company. We almost feel bad for Westgate salesmen, who seemingly must vote for Romney under threat of losing their jobs. However, after reading some Westgate timeshare reviews, this sympathy seems to fade, as we read story after story of misery on the part of timeshare owners. Ever-expanding hidden fees, maintenance costs, and annual charges fill these reviews as one notices a glaring and frightening trend. Westgate has extremely high levels of customer dissent and anger, and this can be seen in all levels of their corporation.

If you have your own Westgate timeshare review, please share with us on our resort reviews, community forum, or leave a comment right here on our blog. Sharing your experience will warn others against falling into this financially devastating timeshare trap.

Timeshare Season Brings Fresh Round of Timeshare Reviews

As Summer comes to a close, these are many developments within the timeshare industry that call for new timeshare reviews. These developments vary with the timeshare companies and specific resorts, but there are a few general things that occur. Timeshare reviews become more prevalent, because many families take their vacations in the summer, causing their experiences to be relived through their own reviews all across the internet. Secondly, Timeshare presentations spike during this time period, prompting many attendees to review their experiences on online forums and consumer activist websites. Finally, many owners are fed up with their timeshares due to bad experiences, so there is a great increase in the amount of consumers looking to get rid of their timeshare contracts.

All of these developments make this time of year both very exciting and very disheartening. Excitement comes from the year’s new batch of reviews, allowing us to see how things are changing in the industry. Timeshare Consumer Bureau takes special care to request new timeshare reviews and examine trends from other reviews from around the consumer forums. However, this can be very disheartening, as many of these reviews are negative and bleak. Many families are outraged over terrible vacation experiences and overwhelming timeshare fees. While the new timeshare reviews are very informative, they are also frightening.

Surge in Consumer Backlash Evident in Current Westgate Timeshare Reviews

Picture
Westgate Timeshare Reviews
Timeshare Consumer Bureau has experienced wonderful community participation in recent days, and we want to take a moment and thank all who have posted a blog comment, filed a complaint, or left a timeshare review. Timeshare reviews are especially important, and add great knowledge and experience to our online consumer community. We also like to be very aware of the state of timeshare resort reviews from around the internet, and have recently become very aware of the rancor that has come out of many recent Westgate timeshare reviews.

One Westgate timeshare review was especially scathing, and outlined the terrifying experiences of a young military couple.

“By All means KEEP AWAY from WESTGATE. After returning to home from a tour in Iraq, my wife and I bought into this nightmare. It is a money pit and a scam. We used it once had a lot of problems... mainly what they sold us and what we actually get is two different things.”

While this is very broad, it is the general experience explained in many Westgate timeshare Reviews. More details of Westgate timeshare reviews include an inability to use their timeshares even a year in advance, massive fees, and a lack of responsivity in customer service.

General Consensus of Westgate Timeshare Reviews

As you may have guessed, the great majority of Westgate timeshare reviews are negative, and the consuming public is largely aware of their shady business practices. While many consumers do their research and know to stay away from these timeshares, Westgate continues to reap massive profits from new timeshare owners every single day. It would be wise to read as many Westgate timeshare reviews as possible to gain a fuller picture, a better consensus. If you have had your own experience with Westgate, good or bad, please submit your very own Westgate timeshare review today!

The Key To Terrible Timeshare Reviews For Well-Respected Hotel Company

Hilton Timeshare Reviews
Hilton Timeshare Reviews
Hilton provides perhaps the most renowned hotel service in the industry, well-known for their breathtaking suites and superb customer satisfaction. Hilton is a well-respected name in the hotel business, and one would be hard-pressed to find a hotel chain with better hotel reviews on the internet.

However, Hilton timeshare reviews are very different than their timeshare-related counterparts. Hilton timeshare reviews are some of the most disparaging on the internet. It has become a common theme in the timeshare industry that high-powered hotel companies often have a brutal streak within the timeshare business. This is especially true of massive conglomerates such as Hilton, Marriott, and the Wyndham group.

The theme behind Hilton timeshare reviews becomes very clear when you read those written by customers who have been involved with this company for an extensive period of time. Hilton timeshare reviews then reveal hidden fees, massive maintenance costs, and unresponsive customer service inquiries, just like many other timeshare companies. However, a much more glaring problem has affected a startling amount of Hilton timeshare customers. This fact, common in many reviews, will really make you scratch your head.

Hilton Customers Can’t Even Use Their Own Timeshares!

At first glance, this seems very puzzling, but it has to do with legal terms written into the timeshare contract. With such high-demand and beautiful vacation destinations, why wouldn't customers want to use their timeshares? Hilton timeshare reviews reveal that most customers absolutely do want to use their timeshares, but are legally prevented from doing so. Hilton timeshares are often collectively owned, in high demand, and highly inaccessible.

Several customers have no idea how this could be legal, and they have a point. Hilton customers are still required to pay large fees and maintenance costs, even if they do not use their allotted time for a given year. Hilton uses floating time arrangements in order to make it perfectly legal to deny reservations if they are filled for popular times. Hilton Timeshare reviews produce an atrocious consumer rating, and this should serve as a very clear warning to anyone considering a Hilton timeshare. Hilton may have a respected name in the hotel business, but their timeshare policies tell a very different tale. Reviews often tell the truth about a company, and Hilton timeshares are no different.

Giving the Consumer the Run-Around Every Day

RCI Timeshare Scam
RCI Timeshare Scam
We have not spoken at length about the RCI timeshare scam in quite some time, so we would like to take the time to bring this fraud to your attention once again. In a recent post, we mentioned the need for more resort reviews, and your input on the RCI timeshare scam is very much appreciated. There have been recent reviews that are scathing and tell a tale of deceit, fraud, and most prevalently, the run-around.

The RCI timeshare scam is not alone in giving the consumer the run-around, in fact this is perhaps the most common tactic of a timeshare resorts. When timeshare owners have an issue or problem with their timeshare contract or vacation venue, they will call the resort, the company that is supposed to help them in their time of need. However, timeshare companies work very hard to make sure your issue is not resolved, or that your own resolve is not strong enough to stay on the phone listening to elevator music for several hours. In recent RCI timeshare scam reviews, it seems as though they make a point to do this with as many customers as possible.

Details Of the RCI Timeshare Scam

The main way the RCI timeshare scam works is by promising to deliver an easy service for exchanging timeshare services between customers. This sounds attractive to timeshare owners, because they would be allowed much greater flexibility with regard to their vacations, but it is the “RCI timeshare scam” for a reason.

In actuality, this service is extremely difficult to use, costing timeshare owners in the long run with massive transaction fees and a very low success rate. Furthermore, RCI underhandedly implies that they can even help you sell your timeshare when nothing is further from the truth. One look at the reviews for the RCI timeshare scam and you will see that this company is one that you should stay as far away from as possible.

Share Your Experience With Hilton Timeshare Resorts

Hilton Timeshare Reviews are somewhat scarce on Timeshare Consumer Bureau, so we are pleading with our great, militant, consuming public to please share your stories! Hilton timeshares are some of the most widely used in the industry, so we know that reviews are certainly out there. These Hilton Timeshare Reviews are also extremely negative, so this is why your fellow consumer needs to be warned of the dangers of purchasing a timeshare with the well-respected hotel giant.

While Hilton has deservedly earned an extremely esteemed reputation in the hotel industry, their timeshare reviews across the industry tell a very different tale. It seems as though Hilton has taken advantage of their popular reputation to gain consumer confidence, thus lending them credibility to sell timeshares to unwitting victims. Hilton timeshare reviews often negate this popular reputation, as their high-quality hotel rooms are a far cry from their horrific timeshare policies. Timeshare reviews are negative for many different companies, but the negativity expressed in Hilton timeshare reviews takes away from their reputation as a decent and popular business.

Don’t Let Hilton Get Away With Underhanded Business Practices

Hilton Timeshare Reviews
Hilton Timeshare Reviews
The main reason we are asking for Hilton timeshare reviews is because so many consumers are falling for their dirty tricks and fraudulent hidden fees, due to their popular reputation. A company should not be allowed to use hearsay to sell a bad investment to unwitting victims. Hilton’s reputation is on the line when your consumer voice is heard through your very own timeshare reviews. Submit your Hilton timeshare review today and take up the cause of your fellow man!

The Worst Timeshare Reviews Yet

Westgate timeshare reviews are overwhelmingly negative, but this is not uncommon within the timeshare industry. Even large and otherwise respectable hotel giants have terrible timeshare reviews due to the nasty nature of the business.. However, Westgate Resorts have some of the worst reviews on the internet, irrespective of industry. In fact, our research could barely find a single positive review for Westgate Resorts, a very rare occurrence for any online forum.

Westgate Resorts was formed in the 1970’s in central Florida, and has since expanded into the largest privately held timeshare company in the world, with forays into other aspects of real estate as well. So what makes Westgate timeshare reviews so profoundly horrible? The key to Westgate timeshare reviews is the rampant nature of underhanded sales tactics. While Westgate does, of course, have negative marks for hidden fees and financially devastating contracts, apparently their sales tactics are just that much worse than even other timeshare companies of a similar nature.

The Common Thread In Westgate Timeshare Reviews: Targeting the Elderly

Westgate Timeshare Reviews
Westgate Timeshare Reviews
Westgate Resorts is centered in Florida, which has a very large elderly population. Perhaps the most shocking aspect found in these timeshare reviews is how their salesmen specifically target the elderly as potential targets for signing contracts. Taking advantage of the elderly is replete throughout the Westgate timeshare reviews, and their underhanded and pushy salesmen apparently lie outright in order to receive contract signatures.

One woman who was recently scammed wrote in her own timeshare review that their salesmen told them that the city was building a water park right next to the resort. After the contract was signed, she learned that there were no plans to build a water park whatsoever. This is just one example of outright lies and other horror stories found throughout Westgate timeshare reviews.

How Timeshare Consumer Bureau Fights for You

Timeshare Complaints
Timeshare Complaints
We have recently spoken at length about the importance of timeshare reviews and the community we are creating with our timeshare forums, but we would like to remind every visitor to the Bureau about our timeshare complaints services. In fact, timeshare complaints drive everything we do here, and we want to hear every single gripe you have with the timeshare industry. An even more effective weapon is a timeshare complaint against a specific resort, for these are combined with similar stories to create a powerful force for change.

Many timeshare owners feel defeated, that their timeshare complaints will fall on deaf ears. Some owners feel like their complaints are unwarranted, that because their name is on a piece of paper, they have no reason to submit a timeshare complaint. We behoove you to reconsider, as it is likely that your timeshare contract was signed under severe distress, and even more so under false pretenses. Timeshare salesmen force consumers to sign their contracts through fraud and misrepresentation, and there is no greater cause for a timeshare complaint.

This may seem obvious, but many consumers feel like their timeshare company has legitimate legal recourse against them. This may be the case, but the level of fraud involved in the signing of these contracts nullifies any type of binding agreement. Your timeshare complaints are nearly always valid, and you should at least have the ability to speak your mind and receive advice from experts regarding your problem. This is exactly what we do, but we need to receive your timeshare complaints in order for us to help! There are likely many timeshare owners who have had similar complaints, and their knowledge and experience will help you immensely as you navigate the treacherous waters of timeshare ownership.
