Record Any and All Evidence Of Timeshare Fraud

Timeshare Consumer Bureau tries to provide as much quality timeshare advice as we possibly can, for knowledge is your greatest weapon against timeshare companies and resorts. The entire timeshare industry is based on misleading information, as companies count on consumers remaining ignorant of the truths behind their fraudulent tactics. Timeshare advice has become one of the most important factors in the fight against this fraud, but it must come from a quality source, rather than a timeshare salesman.

A large problem with timeshare advice is that there are a myriad of sources with many differences of opinion, and it may be hard to decipher the truth. Furthermore, timeshare companies post misleading information online, praising their own industry, and passing it off as reliable timeshare advice. It is a horrible tactic, but as we have learned, perfectly in line with the morals that this destructive industry has shown in the past. Good sources of timeshare advice are from timeshare reviews and complaints submitted by timeshare owners themselves. Consumer advocacy groups such as ours also do everything we can to inform the public with insightful timeshare advice.

One Universal Piece of Timeshare Advice

Timeshare Fraud
Timeshare Advice
The timeshare contract is the primary legal basis for timeshare companies’ tactics of coercion and hidden payments. However, these contracts are faulty when they are signed under false pretenses, for this constitutes timeshare fraud. A great piece of timeshare advice is recording all of the conditions under which your contract was signed. It is very likely that other consumers have experienced these same conditions, and this can force a company’s hand into cancelling their binding contract. Timeshare advice may come from many different sources, but this axiom is true of all timeshare contracts, and can truly help you fight back against your own timeshare company when attempting to get out of the contract.

They lured me into signing by giving 2 travel accommodation even free economy flight to Hawaii and also Vegas i still have the offer scanned. I was not saying yes because of the downpayment & monthly not even knowing that i will be paying for 84 freaking months and no mention of the specifics on maintenance. When they say $1070 downpayment then $202. /mos they didn't mention 18% interest for 84 mos. they also never mentioned the 5 day cancellation. Why is is so short while there's too many pages of legal terminologies that i didn't even bother to review because they said< "keep your documents in a safe place." pretending they cared but that sunk to my mind and i really put it in a safe place and if were on vacation do even have time to review within that period those type of LEGAL DOCUMENTS. Not reasonable this offer in Vegas is the perfect place, condition and time to offer a Timeshare because consumers will not have time to even cancel. Even when you come back from vacation consumers are still in a euphoric mode that they bought something awesome for their family. Until someone tells you have you reviewed your paper works until when you can change your mind? Doomed! But i'm set into fighting this. FTC, State Attorney or even White House can't do away with this industry even if it rotting inside their turning a blind eye, deaf ears on this one. $93 billion U.S dollars money making business for U.S. This properties are owned by very, very, influential individuals they have on their arsenals a group of lawyers who set the paperworks so it's iron clad & financing companies and 3rd party collection. Very well organize mafia.
