Turn Dirty Tricks Against Timeshare Companies

As a timeshare owner, it is very likely that you have been the victim of timeshare misrepresentation. Fraud is replete throughout the timeshare industry, but the bulk of this misrepresentation occurs at the timeshare presentation.

Timeshare contracts are most often signed over false pretense and outright lies. Timeshare presentations can be nasty experiences where attendees are subject to hours of half-truths, fast sales pitches, and immense pressure from salesmen. Consumers are often caught off-guard and are easily mislead through misrepresentation.

Attendees are told that timeshares are wonderful investments that can pay huge dividends. Salesmen speak of the ease of ownership and how timeshares offer great flexibility for dream vacations. This is utter misrepresentation, perpetrated by timeshare companies who should be held responsible for their deceitful claims.

Use this Misrepresentation when Breaking the Contract

While timeshare companies use misrepresentation to coerce consumers to purchase timeshares, owners can use this to their advantage when getting out of a timeshare. It is a very good idea to document, in detail, all the forms of timeshare misrepresentation experienced at the timeshare presentation. These lies constitute fraud and are a great way to build leverage against timeshare companies.

Timeshare companies do not let owners break contracts easily, but timeshare misrepresentation is a just cause for breaking a contract, and timeshare companies know this. It is essential to use all of the weapons at your disposal when getting out of a timeshare, and misrepresentation is one of the most powerful.
